How I came to be

Let’s face it, we never grew up thinking we were going to become a Graphic Designer. Some of us wanted to become a fire fighter, while others wanted to become a doctor, or a veterinarian. Even some people wanted to become princesses, or the ice cream man, but never what we actually become later on in life. I’m definitely guilty of that, I never thought I would become a Graphic Designer until a few years after high school.

I’ve had many influences in my life that helped me make that decision, and one of them was my art teacher in high school. He was extremely talented, and with that talent taught me everything I know. Without his mentoring, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

I’ve never been great with words, they just don’t flow as easily like some people. In design, you don’t particularly need these fancy words to send your point across. Using specific colors, or taking certain words and placing them in a certain way can determine anything from the exact mood, to the actual issue. Graphic Design solves problems, and I prove that statement in this portfolio.
